Ol·fac·to PHILIA is an ongoing olfactive study on human arousal. The first series consists of 18 sexual expressions. Each fragrance captures a specific erotic impulse or ritual taken from the personal accounts of 18 individuals. The project seeks to expand audiences’ sensorial appreciation for intimacy and to stimulate an openness towards alternative modes of sensuality. This collection was originally conceived for and in collaboration with the NEW MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ART, New York.
