Axel Morin is a French photographer and filmmaker based in Paris, whose multidisciplinary practice spans photography, collage, painting, and video. In April 2020, during the final week of the month, Morin kept a visual diary—capturing moments of intimate reflection through a series of multi-channel films shot on an iPhone. Confined, improvised, immediate. Each frame a meditation on proximity and distance. The diary fragrance captures the ghost of occupied spaces—coffee and cigarettes in an empty café, the cooling warmth of a city street after everyone has gone inside.

Axel Morin is a photographer / director with a powerful vision of deeply aesthetic imagery and a unique storytelling ability.
