Prue Stent & Honey Long is an Australian artistic duo whose collaborative practice explores the body through photography and performance. In June 2020, over eight days, they kept a visual diary documenting embodiment and nature—the place where skin meets water, where boundaries dissolve. The diary fragrance distills their exploration into minerals, lake, earth. An olfactive portrait of immersion.

OLFACTIVE JOURNALS

Over fixed periods, we invite artists to keep a diary with us—through audio, text, video, image. They share textures, thoughts and experiences from that time. At the diary's close, our perfumer creates a fragrance—not as translation, but as portrait. A period in the artist's life, filtered through another's attention. The scent becomes an anchor, but not for preservation. For return. For continuation in another form.

 
 
 

Creative partners, Honey Long (b. Sydney, Australia, 1993) and Prue Stent (b. Sydney, Australia, 1993) are multidisciplinary artists whose work co-mingles photography, performance, installation and sculpture. Their process centers around their conflicted relationship to femininity and its passive associations. A fascination with alluring objects and materials is often incorporated in costumes or disguises intended to distort and fragment the bodily form.
